When starting to look for rental units in Chicago in preparation for my relocation from Washington DC to Chicago, I'll be the first to admit that it was a bit overwhelming. There are just so many different places to look, so many ads on websites/apps, and so many brokers/realty companies. It seemed as though all channels were flooded with ads and it took me a couple weeks to figure out where to start. I finally struck gold one night while reviewing a post for a unit I was interested in by shooting the broker representing the property a text message - and thank God it was Katie Justice responding. From that point forward, the rest is history. Katie provided thoughtful advice and was just what I was looking for - a broker who knew their stuff and wasn't pushy. I visited Chicago last weekend, Katie arranged a Saturday full of appointments to view different units in different neighborhoods and even worked some magic to get us into a building that had no availability to schedule any more appointments. I ultimately ended up renting an apartment from that building.
With all this being said, I cannot thank Katie enough for her professionalism, knowledge and assistance finding the right apartment. I highly recommend anyone feeling overwhelmed with apartment hunting in Chicago to get in touch with Katie because she is the real deal and I give her 5 gold stars because she is just that good!

I love the new developments in the west loop and that it is so close to the fast paced lifestyle of downtown but separated enough so you get a cozy neighborhood feel. Also the close proximity to the excellent restaurants on Randolph street are a great perk of living in the west loop.
I like the team aspect of DAC. It feels like everyone is there to help each other and we all genuinely want everyone to succeed.
I am a huge Elvis Presley fan and I have a beagle/jack russell named Paul.
