Mac & Cheese Fest Chicago: October 4

Fifty Chicago chefs will present their mac ‘n’ cheese variations on Saturday, Oct 4th in the Windy City’s inaugural Mac & Cheese Fest. You’ll find the aforementioned mac and cheese variations-and all the craft beer and wine you’ll want to wash it down with at the UIC Forum in South Loop at 725 West Roosevelt Road between 12 and 3pm.

The Great Chicago Fire Festival: October 4

Come see the inaugural tribute to the Windy City’s resurgence after the historic fire in 1871. Enjoy some food, entertainment, and a grand display of fireworks along the Chicago River by Michigan Avenue and Wacker!

The Chicago International Film Festival: October 9-23

Chicago’s International Film Festival has been bringing “groundbreaking, highly acclaimed, and thought-provoking films from around the globe” to the Windy City since 1965. This year’s Festival will bring films and filmmakers from “Scandinavia to Mexico” to the AMC River East Theater located in Streeterville at 332 East Illinois Street

Cider Cruise: October 10

Depart from Streeterville’s Navy Pier on Shoreline Sightseeing’s inaugural Cider Cruise and take in the beautiful Chicago skyline while enjoying Vander Mill Ciders and appetizers!
The Windy City BBQ Classic: October 10-11

Chicagoans will get the chance to taste the best local and national BBQ in the south parking lot of South Loop’s Soldier Field. A fun day filled with meat, live music, and Lagunitas beer!
Wine Riot: October 17-18

Hang out in West Loop’s Union Station’s Great Hall while you sample a selection of 250 wines from all over the world. There will even be crash courses on wine tasting, live DJ sets and a phone app for tracking your favorite pours!
