Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade
If you’re looking for Halloween activities and festive fall things to do near Lakeview or Lincoln Park, Haunted Halsted is the place to be. The event will include a parade, live music, fire performers, and a costume contest starting at 6pm on Halloween, followed by an afterparty.
Meander through the stunning landscapes at the Chicago Botanic Garden as over a thousand hand carved pumpkins light up the path. The evening will also include live carving demos, costumed entertainers, and seasonal fare for purchase. Be sure to get your tickets ahead of time online!
On Hallowseve-eve (October 30th) head to State Street in the Loop for Arts in the Dark. Arts in the Dark is a parade and showcase of Chicago’s vibrant and diverse cultural and creative scenes. There is no charge to attend and the event will run 6-8pm.
