The University of Illinois Chicago
UIC is a public research university which offers degrees in the arts, business, humanities, sciences, technology, health care, public administration, and urban planning. Although many students opt to live on campus, UIC is largely a commuter school with many students living in apartments in the West Loop and other nearby neighborhoods.
UIC is also easy to access with a blue line stop just a block from campus and the Halsted bus #8, which runs right through campus.
Rush University and Medical Center
Rush University is the private, academic branch of Rush University Medical Center. Rush University has colleges of nursing, health sciences, and medicine, as well a graduate college. Whether you’re looking to become an internist, speech pathologist, speech pathologist, or researcher, Rush University has highly regarded accredited programs and is well known for its advanced research.
Rush University and Medical Center are located just off the Polk green and pink line stop, which provides access to Oak Park through the West Loop and downtown to the Loop.
Paul Mitchell School of Chicago
Do you have a passion for styling hair? The Paul Mitchell School  offers placement assistance and career path planning with hands on experience on the floor throughout the program. Students also get access to prestigious additional programs and experiences, including the opportunity to attend events like Caper, Beacon, and the North American Hair Styling Awards.
The Paul Mitchell School is located off Halsted near Maxwell Street with service from the Halsted bus #8.
