West Loop: Now and Then

As one of Chicago’s trendiest neighborhoods, major development has recently been kicked into high gear. In the 1900s, Chicago’s Near West Side was comprised mostly of warehouses, factories and businesses. Eventually, the warehouses were converted into lofts and restaurants, making the West Loop vibrant neighborhood it is today.

Dining Near West Loop

In the heart of the West Loop is Chicago gem, Restaurant Row on Randolph Street. The stretch of Randolph Street between Halsted and Ogden Avenue is home to some of the top dining experiences in the city, and even in the world.
